Strength TogetHER 5- Session 8

Happiness is not something readymade. It comes from our own actions. To be happy we need to cherish even small moments of our lives.

 In order to cherish the smallest happiness and to add more sparkle in our lives, Strength TogetHER cohort 5 conducted its eighth session on the topic ,"Best things in life are free.". The session was moderated by Mrs, Aayusha Gupta, who has currently ventured out into starting into her own practise firm. She is a young chartered accountant and also loves talking to people of different background.

We started the session by hearing each one's story which added more joy and excitement.

• Our first speaker confessed that she finds happiness in very small things. It is very difficult for her to get sad. Concluding, it is good as well as bad trait that she possesses.

• Our second speaker says that she finds her happiness in her family. She feels happy when she is able to bring a beautiful smile on her family members's face even if it is by cracking a small silly joke.

• Our third speaker shared an incident which gave her immense happiness. She was able to help a lady by offering her a glass of water who was very thirsty and was roaming outside in search of it everywhere. Some happiness cannot be bought because it's priceless.

• Our forth speaker said that she finds happiness in almost everything, starting from helping her friends with their work, cooking food with her mother, eating oranges under the sun during winters, or getting what she was thinking about the enitre day.

After hearing all the stories, our moderator asked us to think for a moment about the instances or activities that gave us happiness on that particular day. It was really a fun session. At last, we came too the following conclusion;

Cherish small moments of life.

• Value relationships.

• Never outlook small things.

• Inculcate your goal as a habit.

• Small things gets accumulated to become something big.

The session was a huge success which was lived for about 90 mins through the virtual world of zoom. It was really a fun, interactive and productive one.

Don't forget to be happy and cherish life and it's gifts.
