Strength TogetHER 5- Session 6

7th November 2020 In the typical Nepali society, menstruation is still a taboo more than a monthly process. Many girls still get scared when they get their first period thinking as if it's a sin. And when she gets it for the first time, she is actually treated like it's a sin she has committed. She is forbidden and set under certain boundaries. She has to go through many cultures that makes no sense if we think for a while. Thus, we thought talking about this particular issue would be a really be fruitful. Strength TogetHER cohort 5 conducted its sixth session on 7th November,2020. Our moderator for the session was Ms. Simran Khatri, who has currently finished her bachelors in development studies. She is also the member of Global Peace women and Hatti Hatti.
